Yobaba I like this

Yobaba is a 57 year old married woman from Portland, Oregon, USA.
"Everyday, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others; to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can." - Dalai Lama
Study: For centuries Stonehenge was a burial site - Yahoo! News

From the page: "Remains from the surrounding ditch included an adult dated to 2930-2870 B.C., and the most recent cremation, Parker Pearson said, comes from the ditch's northern side and was of a 25-year-old woman. It dated to 2570-2340 B.C., around the time the first arrangements of large sarsen stones appeared at Stonehenge.

They estimate that up to 240 people were buried within Stonehenge, all as cremation deposits."

Two questions: if these are cremains, how is it that the age and gender of the individual can be 'identified'? AND I am curious as to why no one has mentioned that these individuals might have been a part of some sort of sacrificial rites. That would seem to be at least one of several logical conclusions.
